Jeff Lang’s ‘More Life’ album, music videos

I created these music videos for Jeff Lang, and was also very lucky to be asked to play drums on this recording too, which was a collaboration with other artists like John Butler, Don Walker, Liz Stringer and William Crighton.

‘Seek High’ music video

The shots were generated using an AI ‘flipbook’ animation technique through kaiber.ai -this is a different application of the AI diffusion models that other commercial generators are trying to perfect (which is a comprehensive physical realism). These text-to-video outputs not only allow for longer shots, but they have an interpretive, expressive quality to them which was inspiring to explore, create and play with.

What you see isn’t just what is pumped out. Much work goes firstly into: Prompting trial and error on Kaiber, and then: Editing, compositing, animation, frame overpainting and VFX, which were done with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
